ECO LUXURY HOMES
Contemporary homes designed in harmony with nature.
DESIGNED AROUND THE WAY YOU LIVE
AMOENUS designs and builds bespoke eco-luxury homes where contemporary architecture, natural materials and the surrounding landscape come together.
Every home is conceived as a unique response to its setting and the people who will live there — balancing timeless design, modern comfort and a deeper connection with nature.
LUXURY, IN HARMONY WITH NATURE
At AMOENUS, we believe luxury is not about excess.
It is about space, comfort, craftsmanship and a deeper connection with nature.
We design and build distinctive homes where architecture, natural materials and the surrounding landscape come together to create a more considered way of living.
Inspired by the timeless character of traditional Portuguese architecture and the natural beauty of its surroundings, AMOENUS brings together enduring design, contemporary materials and thoughtful craftsmanship.
Our homes are designed to feel timeless yet distinctly contemporary, creating a natural connection between architecture, landscape and the way we live. Every detail is carefully considered from the materials and textures to the proportions and finishes resulting in homes that are both refined and deeply connected to their surroundings.
While every AMOENUS home has its own character, our philosophy remains the same: to create beautiful, comfortable and enduring spaces designed around the people who live in them.

About Us
WHERE NATURE MEETS DESIGN
Amoenus was born from a dream brought from Holland to the heart of Portugal. Harold de Vries has come up with a concept for a small but soulful home designed for retreats and mindful escapes. Over time, the idea grew and transformed into a construction company specializing in smart and sustainable housing solutions. Today, we build homes with character with wood, creativity and dedication in various parts of Portugal.
